I have been playing catchup ever since I returned from Ireland, but I have finally finished of the digital on some old shoots. So as I have mention before I have been working on a series of my top 10 horror icons as a fashion/ portrait project. My first victim was Leah Jung (who had some great things to say about the project on her blog.) Leah was able to channel her inner demons to produce some images im proud to call my own. With the help of Margerita Tisato doing some beautiful makeup we were really able to kill it with these images. One beautiful lady down, nine more to go!
If you havent been by in a while the website has been updated with new work, so swing by and check it out.
Today is rapidly ending my second day here in Ireland. Here is what I have discovered on my journey so far;
1. Everything here looks like a pub, or at least what I have come to know as a pub from my time in Boston and New York. Wait is that a pub? No its a laundry mat!
2. American tourists are so willing and over eager to chime in on your conversations, dare I say maybe even more than the Irish.
3. The iPhone is the new polaroid camera.
4. I have a strange facination with door knobs.
5. There are more churches here than citizens.
6. Cornish Pasties are Delicious.
7. Guinness, need I say more!
8. Everybody loves Yoda!
So far I say two thumbs up to Ireland! We have been having extremely nice weather. Apparently you rarely see shadows, and there have been some sharp ones ever since the fog lifted shortly after landing. I rented my bike today as well, which was an ordeal since the shop had my reservation for the end of next week and it came with none of the accessories I was assured it would. With all that settled now, I am stoked to start my cycling adventure on Monday.
Tomorrow I am off to some ruins and the jail that housed many of the Irish revolutionaries. Stay tuned for more. No really stat right there, ill be right back!
Want more? Well click here to follow along on with the only person who can claim to be the greenest in Ireland.
This photographer has decided he needs a change of scenery. The urban expanse of concrete, glass, and steel that is NYC is great, but this former Pennsylvanian is craving greenery and some fresh Guinness too! So what’s greener than the Irish countryside? Ok, maybe Al Gore saving a whale! Well in just 4 more days I will be leaving this great and chaotic country of ours to discover what the Emerald Isle can offer. I will be traveling around the country for a few days by bicycle then a side trip to London may be in order. Keep your eyes glued to the screen and I promise to make them happy.
Also for those who did not follow my last blog StArt Trek, then you may have missed my little side project Where’s Yoda? I can’t think of anyone better to accompany me to the Emerald Isle than the greenest jedi of them all. So come back soon, and for you twitter junkies you can follow me here.

I know I have been talking a lot about shoots I have been doing with little imagery to show. I am in shoot mode right now so editing has taken a side step, but here is a peek at my Friday the 13th shoot with Leah Jung. More to come soon!
The flier is pretty self explanatory, but here is the info for the opening this coming friday. Come on out and see some art and feel free to come chat me up about whatever your heart desires. The show is at Charming Wall, 191 W4th Street from 6-8pm.
Hope to see y’all there.
A good friend of mine Lucille, works at Charming Wall gallery here in NYC. They have this little project called 6×6, where you take a 6×6 canvas and do your thing. I got two last week and here is what I came up with. They will be on sale at the gallery and on their website next month.
I love the beginning of a new project, especially one that combines more than one of my passions. This new project I am working which I have temporarily titled Horror meets Fashion. This first set is a bit more horror than fashion but for me its the concept that the look for each model to be inspired in some way by one of my top ten horror films that makes this series so interesting. For my first victim I had the pleasure of photography Leah Jung. Leah was a pleasure to work with, and we had a blast making images. While I edit and retouch I thought you may enjoy a sneak peak and some behing the scenes images brought to you by my lovely assistant Meghan Mcinnis. Also a special thanks to makeup artist, Margherita Tisato.
